Starting dance is an exciting first step, and we have a range of classes designed to help our youngest students discover movement, music and performance in a fun, supportive environment.

Our youngest students start at 2.5 years old, and we're eager to support your little one through every step of their dance journey 🫶

đź©° Introduction to Dance: building coordination, musicality and confidence through the joy of dance.

🤸 Tiny Tumblers: developing balance, strength, coordination and confidence through tumbling and movement.

🎭 Introduction to Song & Dance: exploring singing, dancing and acting while building creativity and performance skills.

✨ GUEST TEACHER FOR SEPTEMBER ✨

We are THRILLED to welcome Joe Dubas to our studio this September to deliver an exciting Lyrical & Commercial workshop! 🔥

Joe is an in-demand freelance dance teacher, choreographer and adjudicator, working with dancers and schools across the UK and beyond.

Specialising in Commercial, Lyrical and Jazz, Joe regularly teaches workshops and classes for dance schools, colleges, events, conventions and leading associate programmes across the UK.

He has taught at some of the UK’s biggest dance events, championships and conventions, including MOVE IT and The Super Weekender, and has choreographed for shows, events and major competitions across the globe. 🌎

Joe is also the creator of his own concept videos and founder of JAD Collective, his own dance group.

We can't wait to have Joe in the studio and see what he brings to our dancers! đź–¤

UNFOLD - GUEST TEACHER🤩

For our very first month of our pre-professional training programme, we are so excited to welcome MIRA CORAL into the studio, to kick off an incredible year of training🥳

Mira is a South African-born dancer, teacher, and choreographer.
Mira completed her professional dance training at the University of Cape Town’s School of Dance, graduating with a First-Class BA (Hons) degree.

Throughout her career, Mira has performed internationally for a wide range of companies, appearing in stadiums, theatres, resorts, and aboard cruise liners.

Since relocating to Belfast, she has toured Ireland as Dance Captain with Peter Corry Productions, performed with Northern Ireland Opera, and in 2023 appointed Associate Director of the Cabaret Supper Club.

Passionate about dance education and professional development, Mira founded Pro-Class: a training space for professional dancers in Northern Ireland to maintain and develop their craft, while also providing aspiring dancers with the opportunity to train alongside industry professionals, learn from their experience, and elevate their own skills.

Mira is honoured to be a part of the UNFOLD team and looks forward to continuing to inspire and support dancers at every stage of their journey!🫶

A HUGE congratulations to Aoife on completing her Module 1 Acro Teacher Qualification! 🩵💙 Starz Acro

After completing her Acro Teacher Assistant Qualification 3 years ago and assisting in our Acro classes for years, Aoife has worked incredibly hard over the summer to achieve her full Acro teaching qualification.

And she didn’t just pass… she achieved 100% across her assessments! 👏🏼🔥

Aoife is the perfect reflection of what dedication looks like. She gives everything her absolute all, constantly pushes herself to learn and improve, and we couldn’t be prouder of her achievement.

And just in time for today… she taught her very first Acro class and being a fully qualified teacher.. You absolutely smashed it! 🙌🏼

Aoife, you are going to be amazing, and we are SO happy to have you officially joining our teaching team this year.

Introducing quarterly team training days is one of the best things I’ve ever done for my school. And this is why… 🩵

1. It brings us ALL together.

With teachers teaching on different days and at different times, sometimes the showcase was the first time the whole team would actually work together!

These days give us time to connect, build relationships and remind everyone that they’re not just a teacher teaching a class, they’re part of something much bigger.

2. We work on our culture, vision & values.

We take time to step back and talk about who we are, what we stand for and where we’re heading.

It keeps us aligned and ensures we all understand not just WHAT we do, but WHY we do it.

3. We invest in our teachers.

One of my favourite parts is mentoring our teachers to DREAM BIG. ✨

I love helping them build confidence, recognise their worth and believe in what they are capable of.

We talk about ambition, boundaries, confidence and creating a life they genuinely love.

Because I don’t want our teachers to simply become better teachers.

I want them to become the best versions of themselves.

To know when to say yes.

To know when to say no.

To protect their time and energy.

To chase their dreams.

And ultimately, to live life to the fullest. ❤️

4. We create consistency.

With a growing team, consistency doesn’t happen by accident.

These days allow us to align on expectations, teaching approaches, communication and the experience we want every student and family to have.

5. We build a TEAM, not just a timetable.

This is probably the biggest one for me.

I want a team that supports each other, celebrates each other, challenges each other and genuinely believes in what we are building together.

Because when your team believes in the vision…

THAT’S when something really special happens.

Quarterly training days aren’t just another day in the diary.

They’re an investment in our people, our culture and the future of our school. 💙
