On Tuesday 30th June 10:15am - 12:45pm come and try the exciting and eco-friendly craft of needle felting in this Woodland Hedgehog Workshop.

It's suitable for beginners or those who have tried the craft before and are looking to develop their skills.

We will talk you through everything you need to know to get started and guide you step-by-step through the process of creating a beautiful felted hedgehog. It’s a wonderful opportunity to step away from busy lives and spend a couple of hours in a calming, fun and social atmosphere.

A little snapshot of this week’s craft club 🏡✨

This week we created family portraits using lolly sticks and paint pens, turning simple craft materials into some very lovely (and very funny!) mini masterpieces. From pets and siblings to frog families and favourite outfits, every one was completely unique 💛

We love seeing how creative the children get when they’re given the same starting idea and no two ever turn out alike!

Needle felted koalas were the project of the week in some of our other after school clubs 🐨🩶

The children learnt how to shape the wool, add details and create their own little felted koalas. We had lots of concentration, lots of wool everywhere, and some very sweet and unique finished creations by the end of the session complete with hats, flowers and more.

It’s always lovely seeing how different each one turns out.

Our after school craft club got stuck into needle felting and the results were brilliant. The children showed so much patience and creativity, and each little sheep had its own personality. Such a lovely, calm craft to end the school day with.

We kicked off this term’s after school craft clubs with wax resist painting this week.

The children designed their pictures using white wax crayons, then brushed over with watercolours to reveal the hidden details. It’s always a bit of a “wow” moment when the designs appear. Simple, effective, and really satisfying to create.
A great way to ease back into the term with something creative and hands-on.
