A lovely evening spent with the Rangers yesterday making needle felted sunflower mice.

With exams underway for a lot of them, it was a great opportunity for everyone to take a break from revision, focus on something creative and enjoy a couple of hours away from schoolwork.

The butterflies have landed!

Once the tie-dye filter papers dried, we transformed them into colourful butterflies using pegs,and pipe cleaners.

A simple craft with a big wow factor, and lots of excitement as the colours spread and blended to create unique patterns. 🦋

🦋 Tie-Dye Butterflies – Part 1 of 2 🦋

This week our crafty crew from After School Clubs got creative with filter papers, colouring and water to make these beautiful tie-dye butterflies!

Here they are drying before we transformed them into fluttering butterflies with pegs and pipe cleaners. Every single one turned out differently, and we love seeing all the unique colour combinations the children created.

On Tuesday 30th June 10:15am - 12:45pm come and try the exciting and eco-friendly craft of needle felting in this Woodland Hedgehog Workshop.

It's suitable for beginners or those who have tried the craft before and are looking to develop their skills.

We will talk you through everything you need to know to get started and guide you step-by-step through the process of creating a beautiful felted hedgehog. It’s a wonderful opportunity to step away from busy lives and spend a couple of hours in a calming, fun and social atmosphere.

A little snapshot of this week’s craft club 🏡✨

This week we created family portraits using lolly sticks and paint pens, turning simple craft materials into some very lovely (and very funny!) mini masterpieces. From pets and siblings to frog families and favourite outfits, every one was completely unique 💛

We love seeing how creative the children get when they’re given the same starting idea and no two ever turn out alike!
