Flow in the Forest 2026 - Important Update
It's with a heavy heart that we are really sorry to announce that Flow in the Forest will not be able to proceed this September at Waldringfield, Near Woodbridge.
Due to the exceptionally dry conditions over the course of this summer, the continued Government’s wildfire warning and the continuing persistent wildfire risk associated with running fire activities in East Suffolk, we cannot responsibly proceed with the event in its intended form while meeting the necessary safety, insurance and licensing requirements.
Fire is fundamental to Flow in the Forest, and removing it would materially change the event people booked to attend.
The good news is that this is absolutely not the end.
We have already secured Bradmoor Wood for Flow in the Forest 2027, and hopefully beyond. All 2026 tickets can be transferred in full to next year. We would be enormously grateful to anyone happy to roll their ticket over.
With the event so close, a lot of money has already been outlaid on venues, contractors, infrastructure and other services. We’ve been incredibly lucky that a number of our suppliers have offered to roll bookings and deposits over into 2027 rather than us losing them completely.
We also want to say a huge thank you to the tutors, performers, traders, bands, suppliers and others who have already chosen to stick with us and come back next year. That support means a lot and puts us in a much stronger position for 2027.
However, anyone who would prefer a refund will be entitled to request one. We are currently working closely with our insurers on the practical arrangements and will publish the refund process as soon as it is finalised. Please hold off sending individual refund requests just yet so we can manage them consistently and no body gets missed.
We have also very kindly been offered a small woodland in Essex where around 35 existing ticket holders only can gather over the weekend.
This is completely free and is not a replacement for the festival: there will be no live stages or organised fire space, but there will be woodland, LED spinning, friends and a quiet beach nearby. There is also a campsite across the road for those who want to come along but do not currently hold a ticket for Flow in the Forest.
More details about this will follow over the weekend.
Thank you to everyone who has supported us and continues to support us. It really means a lot to all of us.
We’re gutted not to be seeing you at Flow in the Forest this September, but we’re looking forward to seeing many of you in Essex in a couple of weeks, and bringing Flow in the Forest back properly at Bradmoor Woods in 2027. ❤️🔥🌲
