In Jeff Cloke’s interactive experiment in SoundSpiral - "Resonation"-1.11.2014- during GNARL fest, the audience members were invited to say something in 26 seconds and then to hear their voice transformed.

The second edition of GNARL fest, the East Midlands Platform exhibiting International and National Live Art, took place at the Lincoln Performing Arts Centre, from 27th October until 1st of November. This year's schedule was even bigger, more experimental, more provocative and more International. With practices as distinct as song lecture, dance performance, digital performance, new media punk rock, trash spectacles, performance installations, durational performances.

GNARL fest has finally come to an end. It was an incredible, unprecedented week of performances, sounds, meetings, drinking, dancing, interventions, being eaten by zombies. A massive thanks to all our audience whose laughter, crying, disgust and gobsmaking was the best reassurance we are doing a good job, to the technicians who put their sweat and blood into all this and to all the artists who presented stunning work and made the whole shebang! Most of all a massive thanks to the hard workers in the organizing team: Fenia Kotsopoulou, Daz Disley, Pedro Vilela, Zara Kazmi, Luke Pukka Nichol, Jammil Ahmed, Shelby Brookes.
