Whether you’re a new writer, established playwright or looking for feedback on your script… Lincoln Performing Arts Centre wants you and ten minutes of your script! Up to six scripts are selected for professional treatment by a professional director and a team of professional actors during an evening of rehearsed readings in front of a live audience. This audience then has the chance to feedback to the writers on the scripts they’ve just seen, before voting for which play they would like to see more of… the script with the most votes wins. The winning playwright will then be invited back at a later date for a staged reading of their developed script, in front of an invited audience, which will include professional script editors, literary managers and artistic directors. Please note that winning scripts must have scope to become feature length plays ranging from forty five minutes to two hours in length. Please send your ten minute extracts, along with your name and contact details to [email protected]
CURRENT SUBMISSION DEADLINE IS…..Monday 18th February at 6:30pm
