Crow’s Eye Productions have completed work for the Normanby Hall Country Park’s 2026 exhibition. It is the story of six notable Sheffield women, and each interpretation board would be accompanied by a life-size cutout of the women - which is where we came in:
Elizabethan: Sophie Jane Corner, Jacobean sisters: Evie Wakefield and Matilda Marlow-Barrow, 1730’s: Philippa Casares, 1870s: Maisie Violet, 1914 VAD Nurse: Laura Turner. Hairstyling by Annette Gray, and photos by Nicole Loven.

Apart from making films for museums and our YouTube channel (Crow’s Eye Productions), we also create book cover photography for Arcangel Images. This is one example: Princess Elizabeth, the future Elizabeth I, holding her mother Anne Boleyn’s necklace. It is pure conjecture of course, it is not known if the necklace survived, but the idea that her daughter might have held it carries huge emotional symbolism.

We will not be using AI.
Everything we create at Crow’s Eye Productions is done from scratch. Research can go on for months before we start a project, and textile sourcing almost as long. Everything is made by me in my costume studio (except leatherwork and sometimes hats), and I generally create the patterns too. We cast with care, and pay all our actors, MUA’s and hair artists well, and find the very best locations to film in. We strive for the highest production values and Director, Nicole Loven, films and edits all the material herself. Our craft is expensive, but there are no short cuts for quality.

"Tell Them of Us" is a short film, approximately forty-five minutes long, telling the story of ordinary people in a small corner of rural Lincolnshire during WW1.
The narrative arc concerns two brothers, Robert and William Crowder from Thimbleby, near Horncastle. They went off to fight for their country, one brother joining the Artists Rifles, but only one returned.
