Happy Father's Day to all!

Today, we celebrate every father, stepfather, grandfather, father figure, and all those who play a guiding role in the lives of others.

We pay special tribute to the dads who are spending today away from their families and we also hold in our thoughts the fathers who are no longer with us. For many, Father's Day is a day of both celebration and remembrance.

To the families navigating Father's Day across different locations, time zones, distances, and memories, we are thinking of you.

Whether you're together today, celebrating from afar, or remembering someone special, we hope every dad knows how valued, loved, and appreciated he is. ๐ŸŽถ ๐Ÿ’œ

๐ŸŽถ Why not join our choir! You don't need any experience - just a love for music, a have a go attitude and want to meet our friendly bunch. You never know, you might meet friends for life ๐Ÿ’•

We rehearse Tuesdays from 1900- 2030 at RAF Digby Station Church. Drop us a message if you fancy coming along!

๐ŸŽถ Yesterday we had the pleasure of performing again at the Lincolnshire Show.

Despite the windy weather, thankfully the rain stayed away and we had a fabulous time performing songs both old and new to the choir. We were lucky to be joined by our choir sisters from Waddington and Cranwell, which made the day even more special.

Thank you to everyone who stopped to listen and support us. We loved performing and the opportunity to explore the Lincolnshire Show afterwards. Days like these are why we love being part of the military wives choir community.

๐Ÿ’• If you're interested in becoming a member and have a military connection (currently serving, veteran, wife, sister, mother or daughter) we would love to hear from you ๐Ÿ’•

๐Ÿ’Ÿ STRONGER TOGETHER SUNDAY ๐Ÿ’Ÿ

As this week draws to a close, we want to say something simple:
When people have spaces to connect, express themselves, and feel part of something - wellbeing improves.
The research tells us this. Our members live it. ๐Ÿซ‚

This week they've shared their experiences of our unique network and the positive impact belonging to it has on their wellbeing.
It's not about being able to sing. It's about being there to sing. About having somewhere to pause, breathe, and be alongside women who understand. ๐ŸŽถ

That's what our choirs are all about. And they're open to every woman with a military connection.
The week ends. The singing and support continues. ๐Ÿ’œ

Your support makes that possible.
Nominate us or donate now! โœจ

โ€˜After the echo of battle has gone,
A place must be found
To ease the burdens of minds
And help hearts to grieveโ€™
From Remembrance Prayer by Tracey Fleming

We are so proud of our choir sister Tracey. Not only will Tracey be singing the beautiful set we are performing at the National Memorial Arboretum for their 25th Anniversary.

She will also be starring with her fellow Talent in the Ranks group. They will be performing a piece of poetry Tracey wrote called Remembrance Prayer. Tracey explains

โ€˜I wrote it following a discussion of why Talent in the Ranks should be based at the Arboretum. Off I went doing research as to why the location. Itโ€™s a piece that tells the story of the arboretum and the formation of Talent in the Ranksโ€™

This is a picture of our beautiful Tracey performing at the Arboretum last year! ๐Ÿ’œ

We are so proud to be singing a Remembrance Set at this very special event to celebrate 25 years of the National Memorial Arboretum.

There is an incredible weekend planned. If youโ€™ve never been to the Arboretum it is a deeply moving and sobering experience and no better weekend to go than this one. We are so looking forward to listening to all the other choirs, bands and artists.

Celebrate our 25th anniversary with us at the National Memorial Arboretum ๐ŸŒณ

On Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 May we'll celebrate the milestones, voices and experiences that have shaped our story so far, during two unique days of FREE vibrant performances, reflective moments and powerful storytelling

๐ŸŒณ Saturday 16 May โ€“ a day dedicated to honouring the stories of Armed Forces service shared through the memorials around the Arboretum

๐ŸŒณ Sunday 17 May - our partners will take to the stage to celebrate the community forged at the Arboretum over more than 25 years

Over the weekend youโ€™ll enjoy performances from Black Voices, Sampad, community choirs, military bands, Talent in the Ranks and Arboretum poet-in-residence Arji Manuelpillai.

Visit our website to find out how you can join in the celebrations during our year-long โ€˜25 Years of...โ€™ programme of exhibitions, events and activities at the National Memorial Arboretum.
