Hey Howdy Hey! It's Tues-yay, it's Dreamland Drama Day! We had a fantastic session last week - lots of amazing ideas for the next show! We've still got a way to go before we have a definite story, but we've got some amazing characters already, and some cracking songs chosen! Let's see if we can decide on some more songs - and get the rest of the story planned - this week! See you at 7pm x

A great start to the new show season last night! We shared lots of wonderful ideas for the new show and we had our usual prize giving ceremony to celebrate all the amazing achievements of our fabulous cast over the past year. Lots of exciting things to come....with our show show in March, and another Christmas mini-concert planned as well!

Hey Howdy Hey! It's Tues-yay! It's Dreamland Drama day! Yes - Rachael's back off holiday and it's time to get your noggins working as we start thinking of the next show!! I'm sure we'll be able to fit in some singing along the way (and there's some certificates to give out too) so we'll see you at 7pm tonight at Burton Road Methodist Church x

Hey Howdy Hey! It's Tues-yay, it's Dreamland Drama Day! Not only that - it's 'Karaoke and Chips' night! We had a cracking show last week - everyone absolutely brought their A game and it was a corker! Now we get to celebrate with our usual post-show chippy tea and some karaoke tunes! This year we ALSO have a birthday to celebrate so we get cake too! It's all happening. See you at 7pm!

EDIT: No certificates tonight sadly - Rachael's printer has run out of inks! We'll get them ready for June 9th x

If you’ve always wanted to volunteer with Dreamland Drama but you’re never free on Tuesday evenings….maybe you could look at volunteering for Stardust (Thursday mornings) instead?

Stardust Theatre Company For All - in Lincoln, is looking for enthusiastic new volunteers to support our amazing adults with additional needs as we begin work on our next full-scale production in September 2026, coming to the stage in April 2027! 💫

✨are available most Thursday mornings (9:45am – 12:00pm)

It’s almost 10 years since Dreamland Drama first started (originally at the Drill Hall under the direction of the inspirational Alice Kinloch). Nearly 5 years ago (after a break due to the pandemic), I was given the opportunity to take over running the group and we found a new home at the wonderful Burton Road Methodist Church where we continue to meet every Tuesday. Dreamland Drama has changed a bit over the years and we’ve really leaned into our love of singing and dancing. Since November 2021 (when we moved to Burton Road) we’ve created 4 original musicals (imagined, written and performed by the Dreamlanders), and performed 3 concerts, including an intimate ‘invitation only’ Christmas Concert at the church in 2025. We’ve just performed our most recent show ‘Showstoppers’ and I couldn’t be more proud of every single one of the cast and crew. To watch them grow, in confidence and ability is an absolute joy. I’m so privileged to be able to lead this wonderful group and I hope we continue to produce fantastic shows for another 10 years and beyond xx
