URGENT CALL for Male actor, playing age 27 to 35 for independent UK movie.

Character name: Rob

Rob is the head of the local Coast Guard service. He is handsome and muscular, a fact that he is clearly aware of. At the start of the movie he is the fiance of our main lead female, Lisa. We first encounter him doing slow meaningful pullups in the gym and wearing gym gear. He’s not awful but he’s a little bit of a show-off and hostile when Lisa introduces him to her ex, Smith. He is only in one scene, the gym scene.

We need someone with confidence and a good physical presence. It would probably help if you can do pullups as well as bicep curls.

This role will require no more than one day on set - possibly as little as half a day. This is Saturday the 26th (9am start). To be clear there is no flexibility as the schedule is now set.

Ctrl AI delete is an independent comedy feature film funded on Kickstarter. www.CtrlAIDelete.net We are shooting in Lincoln between the 17th and the 27th of April 2025. Marsha is one of the three main characters in Ctrl AI Delete. A skilled tech professional and internet streamer, her natural charisma effortlessly engages her audience both online and off. She's sharp, funny, and always ready with a clever comeback, equally comfortable cracking jokes on a live stream as she is solving tough coding problems at her IT job. This is an exciting opportunity for local Lincoln amateur actors to participate iin a 10-day feature film shoot in Lincoln, on one to three days between 17th April to 28th April 2025 TBC (day or evening or both).
Ctrl AI Delete is an independent comedy feature, written by Jason Bradbury (best known for The Gadget Show, Channel 5), and professional comedian Mark Felgate. Funded by 800 Kickstarter backers, the movie is a comedy about a group of retro gaming enthusiasts who take on an AI gone rogue—think Terminator meets The Inbetweeners! Despite our (very) limited budget, we are backed by a highly skilled team, including our US based director Elizabeth Blake Thomas and a main cast of exceptionally talented actors.
We need several on-screen extras for crowd and riot scenes to be filmed inside and outside our Lincolnshire Showground locations.

This Kickstarter-funded, low-budget indie comedy follows a group of friends battling a rogue AI using 80s computers - with plenty of action, humour, and heart.
We’re looking for an actress (mid-to-late 20s) to play Lisa, a resourceful local nurse caught in the chaos. She teams up with our leading man and fights to protect her patients, all while navigating the madness.

Hi All! Last year we composed and recorded a Christmas song, called Candle in the Darkness, as a 2 week challenge. James Fox, Tom Chambers and I had great fun recording it, and we found a brilliant talent in Grace Jackson, who sang it beautifully for us.
At the time we were recording the video near the Tree of Life in Minster Yard we were struck by how much the lyrics resonated with the message of St. Barnabas Hospice. We are very honoured that this year St. Barnabas have adopted the song as part of the Light up A Light, torchlight procession service to be held on the 19th November.

That's not all we're here to post about though. As a part of the service our song will be performed live by Grace joined by the St. Barnabas community choir run by Annie Griffith, around the Tree of Life in Minster Yard. We'd love to have our Starring Lincoln people join in with this, and here's how!

Annie is holding rehearsals at The Venue, Main Road, Navenby on Tuesdays 2-4pm through to the 12th November and at St. Giles Jubilee Halls, Lamb Gardens, Lincoln on Thursdays through to the 14th November 7-8.30pm. You would need to attend at either one of the venues. There are also practise tracks, which Annie has supplied, and sheet music so you can familiarise yourself with it.

Just watched the " flash mob " of this years cast in Lincoln and oh...my...god they are AMAZING!

When do you ever get a chance to see a full blown production of this classic show in Lincoln?? Past students of LATA are already working in the West End and this years cast are the best yet!

Last few tickets available for the forthcoming production on 11th, 12th, 13th, 14th & 15th July. With this year's summer weather so unpredictable, being inside a warm theatre might be the sensible choice this year!
