There's nothing I love more than seeing little ones go from being reserved in class to absolutely loving it after a few weeks 🥰 If you book a one week trial and your little one seems reluctant to join in, please don't give up! I always say 3 weeks is generally what it takes for them to fully settle in and parents are often amazed at the difference after those first few sessions ☺️

Somebody recently commented to me that it must be a real money maker doing this 🤔 It really isn't and it got me thinking whether others have this preconception too. In the past, I was also guilty of sitting at groups thinking this many in a class paying X amount, they are making so much per hour. Trust me, that is not the case. There are so many hidden costs that you might not realise and I certainly didn't appreciate before doing this. The ever increasing hall hire charges, music licence, public liability insurance, first aid courses, DBS checks, website costs, booking transaction fees, poster/certificate/sticker printing, replacing damaged items, washing the kit, fuel/car expenses, buying new toys, uniform etc. That also doesn't factor in the extra unpaid time of travelling, setting up/packing away, cleaning the kit, putting playlists together and learning dances. Honestly, the list goes on. I wish it did make me a fortune but that doesn't matter to me. I absolutely love doing it and that's the most important thing 🥰
I can't wait to start the new term tomorrow!
