Finally made it down to Standen, National Trust last week to see the wonderful Future of Arts and Crafts exhibition organised by The Sussex Contemporary. Feel so privileged to be showing in such a beautiful space alongside so many other amazing artists. 😊

This hand-coiled, double-walled vessel by Lesley Farrell sits at the intersection of contemporary and traditional craft.

Vintage fabrics create the surface pattern, ceramic forms the sculptural body. The result speaks to a quiet tension between hand and machine, presence and texture.
