CAST ANNOUNCEMENT #5

Heather Maskill worked with us on our last project and has taken on a variety of roles within the company this year.

This is what she had to say on her involvement....

"I took on this project after graduating my masters from the university of Lincoln to see how I fared at my first go at producing and to get as much experience as possible making and being in theatre. As producer, stage manager and Molly, I think I’ve achieved that!
This is second time working with Gravitate, with my first bring stage manager for their most recent production. My most recent plays have been A Christmas Carol at The Blue Room and These Victory Crops by IMP-act players at Lincoln Cathedral.
Molly is a great character to play. She’s half eloquent adult with a great mind and half child, easily distracted by her many stimuli, making her both fun and substantial to play."

The show is on Friday at Blue Room Lincoln.

Tickets available from the Lpac Box office or online at lpac.co.uk

* 1 DAY LEFT - TICKETS ON SALE NOW*

Coming to the The Blue Room Lincoln on 1st March 2019. The Female of The Species by Joanna Murray-Smith is a riotous blend of comedy, satire and farce that will leave you laughing all the way back down Steep Hill.

The 90 minute show follows famous writer, Margot Mason as she waits for the muse for her next hit book to come with only the company of a cow on the doorstep. All hope for the next best seller seems lost until the cavalry enters: a homicidal maniac, an emotionally exhausted daughter and a conflicted taxi driver. A story that features strong female characters alongside complex male ones, this remarkable tale is not to be missed!

CAST ANNOUNCEMENT #3

Welcome to the cast Will who will be playing Bryan.

Will Quirk says of the play and his experience.... 'I’m a second year Drama and Theatre student hoping to excel and succeed in the acting industry; I play the role of Bryan, the dim and ignorant, but quintessential nice husband of Tess.
I originally joined the play as I was fascinated by the different viewpoints and the way that the characters bounced off each other throughout the text.

In the past, I have worked in Radio, I have both starred and helped out in amateur drama groups as they put on musical theatre and acting pieces and I have also worked and performed at the Edinburgh Fringe.'
