Today we're celebrating getting 4 results back, from LCM and LAMDA! For musical theatre, Amelia at grade 2, Edith at grade 5, Rose at grade 7, then Lily at grade 6 acting. All four of them achieved a distinction! I am so proud of these amazing young women, they all worked their socks off and it paid off. Well done ladies, I am thrilled for you.

Today I was back in Sheffield with my student and great friend Marek to see Operation Mincemeat at the Lyceum Theatre. So many people have enthused about this show to me and it absolutely lived up to the expectations. This was one of the best shows I've ever seen, genuinely! Amazing cast, brilliant script and songs. So funny and clever and heartbreaking, all in one. Thank you Marek, for inviting me!

Yesterday I was invited to go and see Lily performing in Wildfire by Eve Leigh as part of the National Theatre Connections Festival at Nottingham Playhouse. The group did a really good job of tackling a difficult subject, and brilliantly conveyed the humour and darkness of the play. I thought Lily was particularly good in her role, but then I am biased I suppose! This young lady is just info EVERYTHING right now, she never stops picking up opportunities that come her way. I have so much fun working with her, on both her LAMDA acting and her LCM singing.

She wasn't allowed out from backstage between her show and the next, so I got a photo with her dad instead 😂

We are celebrating two huge successes in one week for brilliant Izzy - a place in the heats for West End Calling, and she found out today she has won a prestigious drama scholarship at Lincoln Minster School for her start in September this year! This young lady is one of the many reasons I love my work. I love investing in my students like this and I'm so incredibly proud of her!

I am also hugely grateful to Tabatha Ladbrook-Hutt. Acting Coach and Circus Skills Workshop Leader. who stepped in to offer support to Izzy at short notice when I couldn't give her all of the time she needed to prepare for her audition. Having Tabs' eyes on her piece and helping to develop it was brilliant reassurance, and the results speak for themselves! My best friend and most brilliant work colleague of over 20 years. The dream team!

Congratulations Izzy, we have such an exciting journey ahead and I'm so excited to be on the road with you!

Huge congratulations to my awesome MT students who took their exams last week! All four of them achieved a distinction, what a clean sweep!! Three out of four of them took an exam for the first time, and two of these amazing people were adults doing it for the love ❤️ It's never too late to hone your craft!

Exciting news - I was asked to join the musical theatre team at the University of Lincoln and I spent my first day with them last Friday! I am now a one to one singing tutor for 10 students on the 3 year degree course 🌟 It is such a huge honour to be part of this journey for these young people ❤️

I will continue the work that I do elsewhere with the groups I teach and my private students - all of the work I get to do is incredibly fulfilling and I love what I do.
