I don’t think it’s much of a secret that I’m obsessed with Xolos, and I think a lot of the people I tattoo know me for Hades being my ‘assistant’ at Eleven, but the appreciation for these dogs runs deeper than that.
I’ve had Xolos in my life for over ten years, and they are one of my most consistent muses when it comes to art. Their connections with life, death, healing, the afterlife and how strongly they bond with people all fascinate me. Dog so loyal they help your soul reach the afterlife is such a beautiful concept.
They really are unlike any other dog! 🥰

In the spirit of that, I’m adding these little colima dog/alebrije inspired pups to my repeatable flash art. This specific design/style will be something I’m adding alongside my curvy witches onto merch etc in the future.
I can’t wait to tattoo these! 😊
