๐ŸŽจ A wider creative programme

Lichfield Arts supports a broad and evolving cultural programme across the district.

Alongside live music, our work connects with film, animation, visual arts, dance, production, workshops, mentoring and participatory arts activity.

Diversifying artforms helps more people find a way into culture โ€” whether as audiences, participants or future creatives.

๐ŸŽถ Developing artistic pathways

Artistic pathways are central to the work of Lichfield Arts.

Through programmes such as Emerging Talent and Momentum, developing musicians can move beyond first opportunities and begin building confidence, skills and sustained creative practice.

This is about supporting artists at different stages of their journey and creating clearer routes into the cultural sector.

๐ŸŽช Free to attend, not free to create

Fuse Festival remains completely free to attend โ€” but free access is only possible because of the planning, funding, partnerships, artists, volunteers and support behind it.

Accessible culture still needs investment.

By supporting Lichfield Arts, audiences and partners help keep high-quality cultural activity open to more people across the district.

๐Ÿ‘ฅ Reaching new audiences

Growing cultural participation means reaching people who may not usually see arts and culture as being for them.

Lichfield Arts is working to diversify audiences across the district โ€” including younger people, families, first-time attenders and those discovering new forms of cultural activity.

Every new audience member helps build a more open and representative cultural future.
