🌆 Spotlight on Eclipsia: Dominion

What happens when you begin to question the system you’ve spent your life serving?

Eclipsia: Dominion is a dystopian sci-fi short film written and directed by 22-year-old filmmaker Harry Rodgers.

Set in a city ruled by surveillance and control, the film follows Kain, an elite enforcer tasked with hunting down a wanted rebel. But as he carries out his mission, Kain begins to question the system he serves — and the world around him.

Combining action, suspense and dystopian themes, Eclipsia: Dominion explores ideas of control, loyalty and rebellion, while showcasing the ambition of emerging filmmakers.

🎤 Following the screening, Harry will be joined by members of the cast and crew for a live Q&A, giving you the chance to hear more about the ideas, challenges and creative process behind the film.

The evening also includes a screening of Exodus, Alfie Johnson’s gritty post-apocalyptic zombie horror, followed by its own Q&A with the filmmakers, cast and crew.

This event is part of Lichfield Arts Emerging Talent, our year-round programme supporting young creatives to develop their skills, gain experience and bring their creative ideas to life.

We’ve got a new look — but the heart of Lichfield Arts hasn’t changed.

For more than 50 years, we’ve believed creativity should be open to everyone. That people should have the chance to discover something new, build confidence, develop their skills and feel part of something.

Our new brand reflects where we’re heading: bold, creative, welcoming and full of possibility.

From championing emerging artists and creating live performance opportunities, to volunteering, skills development and bringing communities together through music and culture, everything we do is about helping people take part, grow and progress.

So, this isn’t just a new logo.

It’s a fresh expression of what Lichfield Arts stands for — creativity, community, opportunity and accessibility— and a renewed commitment to developing artists, connecting audiences and opening up culture to more people.

🎃 HALLOWEEN AT THE GUILDHALL 👻

This Halloween, Lichfield Guildhall is hosting two very different parties on one spooky Friday!

🧙 FAMILY HALLOWEEN PARTY | 4pm to 6pm

Get the costumes on and step inside the historic Guildhall for an afternoon of music, dancing, Halloween fun and treats for the kids.

Witches, ghosts, monsters, and superheroes are all welcome, and grown ups, we want to see your costumes too!

🌙 ADULT HALLOWEEN PARTY | 7.30pm to 11.30pm

Then, when darkness falls, it's the grown ups' turn.

Grab your friends, sort your costumes and join us for a Halloween night at the Guildhall with DJ Geoff James, dancing, bar and plenty of Halloween atmosphere.

Costumes are very much part of the night, so don't be the one who turns up without one...

🧟 Spotlight on Exodus

What would you do to survive when everything you know has disappeared?

Exodus is a gritty post-apocalyptic horror short film by Lichfield filmmaker Alfie Johnson, exploring survival, loss and how far a young man can be pushed before he loses himself.

Created with a team of local actors, creatives and makeup artists, Exodus brings its zombie-filled world to life across a number of locations around the Lichfield area.

It’s a film that combines horror and action with a more personal story about survival and the choices we make when pushed to the limit.

And if you’re wondering how those zombies were created… you’ll have to come along to find out more!

Join Alfie, along with members of the cast and crew, for a live Q&A after the screening and hear more about the making of Exodus.

The night also features a screening of Eclipsia: Dominion plus Q&As
