✨ A little reintroduction as we start a brand new Preformers term! ✨
If you’re new to Preformers — or have been coming along for a while and don’t know much about the person behind it all — hi! 👋 I’m Rosie, founder and class leader of Preformers. 💛
My mission is simple: to make a meaningful, joyful difference to children through music, drama and dance. 🎭🎶💃
A little bit about me…
👨👩👧👦 I’m a mum of two and married my lovely husband Ben in 2017.
🏡 We moved to Lichfield in 2023 and absolutely LOVE living here.
🧒 I’ve been working in careers centred around children and families since 2011, so working with little ones has been a huge part of my life for many years.
🎓 I have a Drama degree from Loughborough University and studied Dance & Drama at A Level & GCSE.
🎶 I’m also a flute player and, perhaps unsurprisingly, I LOVE LOVE LOVE listening to music and having a good dance! 💃
🩹 I’m First Aid trained, have safeguarding training and an Enhanced DBS check, because keeping your little ones safe is just as important to me as making sure they have the best time.
But honestly, Preformers is so much more than just a job to me. ❤️
There is something incredibly special about watching a little one who was once too shy to join in suddenly find their voice… seeing them dance like nobody’s watching… hearing them sing at the top of their lungs… or watching their confidence grow week after week.
Seeing your little ones gain confidence, have fun and discover what they’re capable of is the biggest privilege. 🥹💛
So, here’s to another term of dancing, singing, pretending, playing and making memories together!
