Thank you everyone who came to the Institute Brain Teaser event last night, especially Jan and Vicky who not only teased our minds relentlessly for most of the evening but also provided a delicious selection of tasty snacks to feed any brains cells we still had left! A fabulous day at The Institute yesterday as local Masham artist Ian Scott Massie- Artist led a workshop for 12 budding artists. Everyone had a fabulous time. We are hoping he will host another workshop soon. Wishing you all a lovely Easter Weekend. If you are planning a walk through Thornton Steward this weekend remember our historic Village Institute is always open, welcoming walkers with self service drinks, doggy treats, a book stall and that all important toilet. Do pop in and enjoy a break. We are so grateful for the support everyone passing through our heritage village gives up towards keeping this old institute building the hub of our little community. So do please visit us as you pass by.
