A selection of photos from this year's tour to Nottinghamshire. We were ably led by our Squire, Harvey Hyatt, and our Foreman, Peter Austin, who broadened our understanding of Fieldtown!
We had a glorious time - fuelled by beer and ibuprofen... 🍺 💊
Next year it'll be Matt Simons at the helm of the (as yet) mystery tour, and Conor Smith tutoring us in 2027's (as yet) unknown tradition!

Well that's us done for another year. For this interested in these things, we were dancing Fieldtown this year. A lovely tour with some gorgeous scenery. Our special thanks to Glyn who subbed in this year for a member who was unavailable. Glyn danced with the original side in 2010 so he was the ideal candidate. Thanks to everyone who came to watch us, details of next year's tour and photos from today will follow soon.

It's here!
All timings subject to weather conditions, pubs being open when they say they will be and roads not being occupied by bandits wearing Lincoln green, tights optional...
And before anyone asks, we have increased our ranks by 1 for this year's tour to ensure we have enough, as one of our number may need to leave in a hurry for a happy event. Expect high jinks to follow, possibly involving bows and arrows.

Furthermore, our Foreman for the 2026 tour is the (current) Bagman of The Morris Ring, the one and only Cheesy Peter Austin. Making it a full house from Jockey Morris leading the team next year!

Very pleased to report the results of this morning's AGM. The One Day Wonders will be ably led in 2026 by our new Squire Harvey Hyatt. The balance of power seen here being transferred via the medium of a bottle of Henderson's Relish from 2025 Squire, Fraser Simpson (due to the fact that the staff of office is currently somewhere in the house of 2024 Squire, Toby Melville!)
