We are thrilled that Uprising, by Jonathan Dove and April De Angelis, won the 'Best Participatory Production' award at the Young Audiences Music Awards last night in Denmark!

It is wonderful to see this community opera, co-commission by Glyndebourne and Saffron Hall Trust, recognised for its impact and importance.

Uprising gave hundreds of young people and members of the local community the chance to perform on Glyndebourne's main stage and in the orchestra pit alongside professional singers and the Glyndebourne Sinfonia.

With thanks to Jim and Hilary Potter, The Chalk Cliff Trust, MariaMarina Foundation and other generous individuals and organisations for their support.
