happy world puffin day 💚

fancy a little trip back through time? swipe to see some photos of the first and only time i got to see puffins - 15 years ago!

i remember it being a seriously blustery and cloudy day, and just being in awe of this wind-beaten landscape and the cheerful birds pottering around on the cliff face 😄

our Girl Guide group only got to spend one day in Lerwick, Shetland, and then we set off across the North Sea headed toward Stavanger as part of the Tall Ship races. it was a real adventure! just over half a lifetime ago now 🐤

afternoon all 🌼 the sun is shining again, the bees are buzzing and it's a lovely day. though the clocks have gone back, i'm very grateful for the longer daylight hours 😊

march has been a month of sorting, packing, painting and photographing, and there are eight new party bird designs currently in the works! thank you so much to everyone who has supported my little business this month 💛🌼

other highlights from march:
• i turned 31 - still telling myself age is just a number
• started reading my fifth book of the year
• fell over outside Morrisons because it was hailing so hard i couldn't see 🤣
