I never wanted to be that guy, but if you think you're buying local or purchasing something that's genuinely "Shetland made," please take a moment to look closely at what you're buying and who you're buying it from.

Shetland is seeing an increasing number of sellers marketing products as local or "Shetland made" when they aren't. I wouldn't normally say anything, but it's becoming far too common and keeps appearing across my feeds.

Support genuine local makers where you can, and make sure you know exactly who you're buying from.

So, I've been a bit quiet lately 😉. That's mainly because my boards, puzzles, and other wee items I've been working on are now available at The Artery in Scalloway! 😊

I've also got a few more things in the works, so keep an eye out for those coming soon x
