Florence was once considered the centre of the world with renaissance architecture and art.

Without wanting to be too hypocritical as a tourist complaining about other tourists doing touristy things - the local population is not big enough to absorb the sheer level of tourism here and it felt like Disney Land.

I get overwhelmed with large crowds and the “stop start” of people walking along narrow streets that I found myself steering our travels to places away from the must sees attractions to catch a break.

Across the River, the views are beautiful and it was here where I could see the charm of the city.

Nick Cave in Antwerp makes it to the top 5 gigs. Antwerpen-centraal makes it to my most beautiful visited train station to date.

Decided to make a trip of it and travelled to Brussels mid afternoon post gig. Belgium in autumn is worth seeing ♥️ (no photo evidence of this - far too many things to look at and soak it all up for yourself)
