STORY TIME ….

Here is a piece I did a while back that I completely forgot to post. This one has more of a story than others, client sent me an old tattoo that belonged to their late father and asked me to get his tattoo as close as possible to the original.

After seeing the original tattoo I thought an eagle fighting a snake, after looking through countless images and reference books it came to a dead end and I couldn’t find anything. Spoke to lots of different artists about what it could be and how the anatomy of the tattoo doesn’t make much sense yet it is clearly still something.

After around 2 weeks of researching different mediums we found it to be a flying serpent. After that the redraw was much easier shown the client the reference image and he was over the moon with it and then the picture is what we got as a finished result.

My client sat like a trooper and I am so thankful for the people who put their trusts in artists I cannot thank my client enough for sticking with me through this process.
