Meet The Choirs!
Battle of the Choirs 2026 is THIS Saturday!

Love2sign is an award - winning community choir made up of Hearing and D/deaf members with mixed signing ability. We sign a great mix of songs from classics through to contemporary pieces. Anne and Sue formed Love2sign six years ago in Leigh-on-Sea and in 2022, expanded to the Colchester area of Essex. We have enjoyed performing at many events locally and further afield. The aim of our choir is to show that music can be enjoyed by everyone regardless of hearing ability. Love2sign is a group of people who all share and achieve this same aim by putting people at the heart of what we do.

We may be spread across two towns but we celebrated BSL Day by wearing blue and signing together.

Did you know there is Deaf flag?
The Deaf Flag is a symbol that speaks out about unity, pride, and the rich diversity within the Deaf community.⁠
⁠The hand represents the signing Deaf community and Sign language, while the fingers reflect the global projection of Sign language, with over 300 existing Sign Languages worldwide!⁠

The turquoise blue embodies the pride and unity of the Deaf community, the yellow symbolises light, life, and coexistence.⁠
⁠
The navy blue is a powerful reminder of our connection to planet Earth and humanity, embracing the concept of Deafhood and combating audism.⁠

Why not come and join our signing community? we are a mix of Deaf and hearing people brought together by the love of music, signing and friendship.
