The brief for Conor was completely different to the way I would usually approach a tattoo project.
Rather than carefully planning every piece around flow, placement and composition, the idea was to treat his body like a graffitied stone wall, something that has been repeatedly marked, layered and added to over time.
Each tattoo represents a different point in his life and career, with new pieces added as his story has evolved. There was deliberately no consideration for creating one perfectly designed, cohesive body of work. In fact, that went against almost every instinct I have as a tattooist.
The end result is something raw, personal and constantly evolving a visual record of the different chapters, experiences and moments that have shaped him.
If you would like to get booked in or discuss your design please give me a message.
