From student, to dancer, to teacher… and now, to the next chapter. 🫶🏽
Over 10 years ago, Mya walked through our doors as a student, never knowing just how much this place would become a part of her story.
She trained year after year, constantly pushing herself, growing, learning and giving everything she had to our crews and classes. Along the way, that passion turned into something even more special she became a teacher herself, taking over our crews and classes inspiring the next generation of dancers.
Watching her journey from that young student to the incredible teacher and dancer she is today has been something truly special. We’ve watched her grow not only as a dancer, but as a person, a leader and someone so many young dancers look up to.
And now, after more than a decade of being part of our dance family, Mya is taking another huge step forward as she heads to university to continue pursuing her passion for dance Wilkes Academy of Performing Arts.
We couldn’t be prouder of you, Mya. It’s emotional to say goodbye, but even more exciting to see where this next chapter takes you.
Thank you for every rehearsal, every class, every laugh, every moment and every bit of yourself you’ve given to our dance family.
