We are absolutely thrilled to have come away from the Sooty Awards 2026 with FIVE awards for LITTLE WOMEN: THE BROADWAY MUSICAL!

🏆 Best Musical/Pantomime
🏆 Best Leading Performance in a Musical/Pantomime – Danielle Sanders
🏆 Best Director of a Musical/Pantomime – John Bale
🏆 Best Musical Direction – Grace Bale
🏆 Best Costume Design – John Bale

And somehow, “Five Forever” feels like the perfect soundtrack. ❤️

This song captures the joy, fun and love we had for this show. Little Women was a wild-card choice for us, but it became a truly magical experience — a brilliant team working collaboratively to create something new and exciting.

Our biggest takeaway? Take a chance on new titles. You might surprise yourself. ✨

Thank you to everyone who helped bring Little Women to life, and to our wonderful theatre community for celebrating with us. 🎭❤️

This week’s choice comes from our Sweeney Todd cast member Charlotte Parker (Ensemble): “Not While I’m Around” from our very own Sweeney Todd! 🥧🔪

A beautiful and tender moment in one of Stephen Sondheim’s darkest musicals, “Not While I’m Around” is a powerful reminder of love, loyalty and the instinct to protect those we care about.

Tonight, we’re looking forward to celebrating our wonderful production of LITTLE WOMEN: THE BROADWAY MUSICAL at the Sooty Awards 2026 at The Little Theatre! 📕❤️

We’re especially excited to see our very own Jo March, Danielle Sanders, take to the stage to perform “The Fire Within Me”, accompanied live on piano by our fabulous Musical Director Grace Bale. 🎭🎶

Introducing Grace Bale (Johanna)

For Grace, Johanna in Sweeney Todd is the dream role… and she’s only gone and got it! ✨

She’s firmly on Team Revenge 😈—because there’s nothing better than a little payback, especially when certain men are finally held accountable for their atrocious actions!

For now, Grace is locked away in Judge Turpin’s world, dreaming of freedom and singing some of Sondheim’s trickiest music. Easy, right? 🎼😅
