Star Wars - International Six Sheet (Tom Jung 1977)

Tom Jung's original design with the cross motif emanating from the lightsaber and Vader looming behind would become an iconic touchstone for all Star Wars movie posters to come, seen here in prodigious six-sheet size.

ODEON Letters (York Odeon)

These iconic red letters graced the front of the Odeon Cinema in York and were present during original run in 1978. The art deco cinema in York was a Grade II listed building and despite over 14,000 signatures from local people the Odeon was closed in 2006.

The cinema did later reopen and is now known as the Everyman York. The signage has undergone restoration work for preservation.

These two iconic items are now on show in our May The Toys Be With You exhibition at Leicester Museum & Art Gallery until 6 September.

Tim will decorate the stage with your creations and perform the stories you have chosen at Riverside Festival on 6 and 7 June.

Every participating family will receive a free copy of A Year Full of Stories by Angela McAllister. A beautiful book to take home and enjoy together.
