Some moments are worth sharing.

A little while ago, our Musical Director Richard Laing met composer Carl Rütti to collect the finished score of Panta Rhei.

It's not every day that a composer hands you the music for a work that nobody has ever performed before!

Over the next few months we'll be getting to know every note as we prepare for its world premiere alongside Mozart's Requiem.

We can't wait to start sharing that journey with you.

We're excited to have Leicester local, James Upton, as Baritone soloist for our concert on Saturday. Coming from Braunstone, he began his singing career as a chorister at Leicester Cathedral, singing there from age 5 until leaving at 18. He has held significant choral positions including National Youth Choir section leader, and is currently a member of Genesis 16, the young artists programme run by the Sixteen, where he works closely with Harry Christophers and Eamonn Dougan. @topfans

We can't wait to welcome back Soprano Katie Trethewey at our concert on Saturday! Katie enjoys a versatile career performing all over the world, and has appeared regularly as a soloist at many high-profile venues, including London’s Cadogan Hall, Wigmore Hall, St John’s Smith Square, and Birmingham's Symphony Hall.
