☀️ Important Update – Thursday 13th August 🎡
We’ve been keeping a very close eye on the latest developments with the heatwave and the forecast for Thursday.
Now that the Met Office has issued an Amber Warning for Extreme Heat covering Leicester, we feel that we have to make the difficult decision to close both our Summer Fair at Abbey Park and our children’s rides on Humberstone Gate, in the city centre on Thursday 13th August.
The safety and wellbeing of our visitors, staff and ride operators is always our number one priority. With temperatures expected to reach extreme levels, we believe this is the most responsible decision to make.
We’re sorry for any disappointment this may cause, but we hope you understand why we’ve made this decision. 💚
🎡 Both locations will be back open as normal from Friday 14th August.
The Abbey Park Summer Fair will continue daily from 1pm–8pm until Monday 31st August.
Thank you for your continued support and understanding. We look forward to seeing you back with us soon!🎡
