✨ That’s a wrap on my first workshops at ! ✨
What an amazing three days of calligraphy! 🖋️💫
My first workshop was a 2-day Beginners’ Introduction to Copperplate Script, and I couldn’t have been happier with the results. Every student achieved amazing things, and it was wonderful to see their confidence grow throughout the two days. 💕✍️
Then, on my final day, we moved on to another hugely popular style — Modern Calligraphy!
As well as learning the script, we explored design, layout and composition, creating beautiful pieces on black card using blended Harald Litzka paints. ✨🎨
One of the things I love about teaching is being able to provide the products I genuinely know work well for beginners. It has taken me many years of experimenting to find the right tools, inks, paints and equipment, so I stock and sell the products I teach with.
This means my students don’t just leave with their new calligraphy skills and the work they’ve created, but also a lovely stash of carefully selected products — including tailor-made starter packs to continue their calligraphy journey at home. 🖋️📦💕
The feedback has been fantastic, and I’m already planning classes for my return next year! 🎉
And of course, the learning doesn’t stop when the workshop ends. All my students know that I’m always happy to offer follow-up help, tips, tricks and advice as they continue their new-found calligraphy journey.
