Are you aged 16 or over?
Do you have a passion for performing?
Would you like the chance to be seen by a range of directors?
Our open auditions are a chance to do just that.

All auditionees will have the opportunity to take part in a morning workshop session led by David Cross. This will culminate in a short presentation in front of a group of directors.

After lunch, there will be individual auditions and a chance to show what you can do!

When Serge buys an expensive canvas painted entirely white (with subtle white horizontal lines) by an obscure artist named Antrios, it sparks controversy amongst his friends. He defends the painting passionately, seeing it as a profound and liberating work of modern expression.
Serge will be played by Piers Flavin.

Set in modern-day Paris, this hilarious dark comedy involves three male friends, Serge, Marc and Yvan, who find that their previously solid 15-year friendship is on shaky ground when Serge buys an expensive white painting.

To Marc, the painting is a joke, but Serge insists that Marc has no proper appreciation of the true value of the artwork. Their eager-to-please friend, Yvan, burdened by his own domestic woes, tries to appease both, but is dragged unwillingly into the disagreement.

Lines are drawn and the pals square off over the canvas, battering each other over long-held resentments...

This multi-award-winning play was a smash hit in London’s West End and on Broadway, running for several years.
