Well, where do I start?
What a fabulous night we all had, dancing the night away and celebrating our achievements and everything that makes us DBA PA!
First and foremost, a huge congratulations to our students. You were absolutely brilliant. Your confidence, energy, manners and enthusiasm showed how much hard work you have put into your classes. Each performance was a joy to watch, and the awards received are well deserved. You all make it so hard to choose!
Remember, every step you take, every rehearsal you attend, and every challenge you overcome helps you grow—not just as dancers, but as confident and strong individuals. We’re so proud of you all.
A heartfelt thank you to our teaching team, Miss Mads, Mr Dan, and Miss Holly. Your patience, dedication, and passion inspire these children every single day. Behind every graceful move and powerful performance is your guidance and belief in them. Miss Mols, thank you for giving up your time to help our main teachers and assist classes. Miss Mads - where would we be without you?! From being a student with us to running DBA PA alongside me, you go above and beyond for our team. You are the co-ordinator to our chaos, when I’m often the cause of the chaos! 🤭 And you are truly the most wonderful role model to many. Thank you for all you do for us, you’re appreciated more than you know!
Our backstage team worked tirelessly to ensure all children were safe, happy and supported, as well as setting up and packing away - and joining me in running around like a headless chicken in the weeks before! All, voluntary I must add - because in their words “the children make it worth it” 🥹 Miss El, and Miss Bobs, thank you so much. Your time, effort and support has been second to none! Also, a thankyou goes to my parents who kindly arranged for team flowers this year! And Nat, who was thrown in on lighting but did a fabulous job! Thank you all for such a smooth day, from start to finish!
Our front of house team who dedicated their time to help with our star board (Gee), taking tickets on the door, setting up snack tables, and being a hand where needed - even when our smoke machine set the fire alarms off 🤦🏽♀️ (oops! Sorry to the club!) and Kyle on our camera who ensured we captured the night in full swing!
To the parents and families, thank you for your constant support. Thank you for your trust in our team, your kind words and gratitude, for practicing with your children at home, your encouragement after tiring days, and for always cheering the loudest. Your support makes all the difference. Your children are a total credit to you all!
I would also like to thank everyone who helped make the day possible! Our efforts truly created a platform for our children to shine, and they smashed it.
Most importantly, to our students.. keep dancing, keep dreaming, and keep believing in yourselves. Whether you win an award or not, stepping onto that stage takes courage, and that itself is a victory. We hope you all love your shiny medals, a lovely keepsake that you should be proud of!
I started this journey with a dream, to share the joy of all things performing arts, to inspire confidence, creativity, and discipline, and to create a space where every student could shine. I couldn’t have imagined back then how much this school would become a home for laughter, friendship, and personal growth. Something I know shaped me in my dance days and gave me memories to cherish forever!
Once again, congratulations to all our young super stars, and thank you to everyone who supported and celebrated them with us! A big cheers to us all.
And that’s a wrap - My heart is full and I am the proudest principal in the world. Merry Christmas everyone!
Love,
Miss Khloe ❤️
