So sorry everyone, but unfortunately we’ve had to CANCEL Lestival tomorrow. 💔

With rain forecast throughout the day, it just doesn’t make sense to have all of you coming out to support us and standing outside getting wet. 🌧️

We wanted Lestival to be a fun, enjoyable community day for everyone, and sadly the weather is just not on our side this time.

Thank you so much to everyone who planned to attend, perform, volunteer or support us. We really appreciate you. ❤️

We’re gutted, but hopefully we’ll come back bigger and better! 🙏🏾

✨ A new school year, a new opportunity to shine! ✨

With most children returning to school next week, now is the perfect time to introduce them to an activity that builds confidence, friendships, fitness and self-expression.

At CDCA Academy, every child is welcomed and encouraged, regardless of their experience or ability. Our sessions provide a safe, positive space where young people can have fun, learn new skills and truly be themselves. 💃🏽🕺🏽

We offer:

⭐ Street dance classes for ages 2–17
⭐ Elite Dance every Wednesday
⭐ Soca Dance every first Sunday of the month
⭐ Opportunities to perform at shows, carnivals, competitions and community events
⭐ A FREE first session for our weekly Wednesday and Sunday street-dance classes!

🏆🎉 NOTTINGHAM CARNIVAL 2026 – RESULTS! 🎉🏆

What a MASSIVE achievement for CDCA Academy & ER Dance! 👑🔥

Out of 13 incredible troupes, we came away with:

🥉 3rd – Best Band on the Road
🥉 3rd – Best Carnival Arts
🥉 3rd – OVERALL Best Troupe

To place 3rd overall out of 13 troupes is something we are incredibly proud of! Two groups came together as one, and look what we achieved! ❤️🔥

A huge well done to every dancer, young person, parent, volunteer and supporter who made this possible. Three awards to take home — what an achievement! 🏆🏆🏆

A massive thank you to the Nottingham Carnival organisers for all the hard work behind the scenes and for giving us the opportunity to be part of such a fantastic celebration of carnival and culture. 🙏🏽❤️

Join us for a day of community, fun and entertainment at our CDCA Academy Lestival! 🌟
