Manpreet Singh is currently a student of Ustad Satninder Singh Bodal. Currently, he is studying Indian Classical Music and The Gurmat Sangeet Tradition. He is also pursuing a Master of the Arts in Vocal Music at the University of Chandigarh.

Manpreet Singh was also a finalist of the Reality Show Gavoh Sachi Bani on Ptc Punjabi in 2017.

Featuring our main artist, Ustad Satninder Singh Bodal.

Ustad Satninder Singh Bodal hails from a rich lineage of Sikh Musicians known as Rababi’s. Blessed by the Sixth Guru of the Sikhs, it is said that Guru Hargobind Jee requested the Bodal family to start partaking in Sikh devotional music, known as Kirtan. Since then, the family have been custodians of the tradition. Famous musicians in this lineage include Bhai Dilbagh Singh and Bhai Gulbagh Singh.

Having had a rich musical upbringing, Satninder Singh Bodal also took formal training under Professor Harjinder Aman and Ustad Baldev Singh Narang (Patiala- Shaam Chaurasi Gharana) retrospectively. Both of whom upheld the Punjab Style of Classical Music.

Ustad Satninder Singh Bodal has performed on prestigious stages including the Harivallabh Sangeet Samalan (2015) and has travelled on worldwide for tours including the United Kingdom, Canada and New Zealand. Bodal Ji has also been bestowed prestigious awards including “Best Classical Vocalist of the Year” By Osca (2014), The Yuva Sangeet Rattan Award in Krukshetra (2016), and the Sangeet Rattan Samman (2016) by Akhil Bharitya Sangeet Smealan.

More recently this year, Satninder Singh Bodal played a pivotal role in “The Allegory - A Tapestry of Guru Nanaks Journey”. This documentary depicted the journey of Guru Nanak on his travels spreading The message of the Sikh Faith. This was the first time a docu-series was made detailing every city Guru Nanak had travelled to spread his message.
