Say hello to Voldemort! 👋🦎🖤

🦎 Species: European Legless Lizard (Pseudopus apodus)

🎂 Age: Unknown
♀️ S*x: Female
🏠 With us since: 2026
🌍 Native to: Parts of southeastern Europe and western Asia 🌍

Voldemort might look like a snake, but don’t be fooled! 👀🦎 This fascinating reptile is actually a lizard that has evolved to live without legs. She’s a brilliant reminder that nature is full of surprises, and not everything is quite what it seems! ❤️

🍽️ Favourite food: Quail eggs 🥚
⭐ Favourite thing: Exploring her surroundings
😂 Fun fact: Legless lizards can often be distinguished from snakes by their eyelids and external ear openings! Unlike snakes, many legless lizards can blink. 👀

Many legless lizards have a special groove along each side of their body, which allows their bodies to expand more easily after a big meal! 🦎 Nature is incredible!
