The Academy at Century Theatre

📣Announcement

Following recent changes at the Century Theatre, we have had to make the difficult decision to pause our sessions at the Academy and the subsequent ‘Frozen Junior’ show.

This is due to reduced staffing making it impossible for us to safely deliver classes or rehearsals for the show.

Children are at the heart of what we do, and we want to make sure they have the best possible experience with us.

With this in mind, we hope to be able to secure a new way forward for the Academy soon!

We regret to inform you that our auditions for Frozen JR have been postponed until further notice.
This is due to unforeseen circumstances out of our control.

This has not been an easy decision to make hence the delay on this update. However, we want to provide enough notice to everyone.

We will be sure to contact you with further updates.

As per our email to grown ups, all Academy sessions have been cancelled up until the new year.

This is due to a variety of unforseen circumstances out of our control.

Our Coalville C.A.N performance will still be going ahead as scheduled.

It's super windy and cold!

We're still going ahead with the planned flashmob unless it's too unsafe to dance

We are still performing today!

The main stage performances have been cancelled but we are still due to perform at 10:30am

As far as we're concerned, our performance at 10:30am is still going ahead in Belvoir Shopping Centre.

Principal Sarah will keep checking for updates and will let everyone know if anything changes.

⚠️⚠️ Update - Saturday 23 November ⚠️⚠️

The main stage at our Christmas in Coalville event cannot be put up due to high winds.

This means performances on the stage will NOT go ahead.

Food trucks will move to the Belvoir Centre and some of the entertainment will shift inside Newmarket Coalville

The event will be continuing, here's what to expect...

🎄Lots of stalls, entertainment and food to enjoy at Belvoir Shopping centre.

Walkabout performers will still be entertaining people throughout the dayand the small stage in the Belvoir Centre will still continue as planned

Escape room and Axe throwing has been cancelled

We will continue to watch the weather and keep you updated if anything else changes

We still look forward to seeing you for what is still going to be a brilliant day! 👍

We are super excited to be performing this weekend at Christmas in Coalville 🎄

We'll be there at 10:30am performing a few fun songs to kick off the event 🤩
