Mushroom bells!

I’ve put together a brand new 2-part workshop where you’ll spend two evenings making your own hand-built ceramic mushroom bell from scratch — wonky stems, weird little caps, earthy glazes and all.

First session (July 14th) is sculpting and building your bell by hand out of clay — adding textures, shaping the mushroom, giving it all its odd little personality traits.

Second session (July 21st) is glazing, where they properly come to life before being kiln fired and assembled into actual working bells ready to collect.

£65 per adult includes everything:– both 2-hour sessions (4hrs total)– all clay, glazes & materials– both kiln firings– refreshments & snacks– assembly of your bell– your finished ceramic mushroom bell to keep

Well for the last few years - ever since Covid and the lockdown, walking or driving around Leek you’ve seen the most stunning window artwork in lots of independent and local shop windows all around town, that really bring a smile and joy - that’s Amanda …. We’ve had a fabulous last day of half term today making 3 piece picture pieces this morning which will be fired prior to framing, and wind chimes this afternoon which will be fired then fitted with chain all ready for hanging - thanks so much to everyone who came along, here are a few pieces pre- firing 💗
