Guiseley Sounds Unplugged Returns This October With Two Iconic Voices Of British Indie
TOM HINGLEY VOICE OF Inspiral Carpets AND NIGEL CLARK OF Dodgy HEADLINE VOLUME 3
Following the huge success of the first two Guiseley Sounds Unplugged events, the series returns to Guiseley Theatre this October for another special evening celebrating some of the most recognisable voices and songs from British indie and alternative music.
TOM HINGLEY VOICE OF INSPIRAL CARPETS will open the show, performing songs from the band’s much loved catalogue including This Is How It Feels and Saturn 5.
Tom Hingley was the lead singer of Inspiral Carpets for more than two decades, performing on their biggest hits, appearing on Top of the Pops and touring around the world.
Following Tom’s performance, Nigel Clark of Dodgy returns to Guiseley following his standout headline performance at the very first Guiseley Sounds Festival.
Nigel will perform songs from Dodgy’s hugely successful catalogue, including Good Enough, Staying Out for the Summer, Grassman and more.
With platinum selling albums, multiple Top 20 singles and a BRIT Award nomination, Dodgy became one of the defining British bands of the 1990s. This special acoustic performance offers fans the chance to hear those iconic songs performed up close by the man who wrote and sang them.
Adding to the evening, Amy Campbell will perform live in the theatre bar before the show and during the interval.
One of Yorkshire’s fastest rising young artists, Amy combines a huge voice, strong stage presence and a polished pop sound that is already attracting attention.
With TOM HINGLEY VOICE OF INSPIRAL CARPETS performing first, followed by Nigel Clark of Dodgy, and Amy Campbell performing in the bar before the show and during the interval, Volume 3 promises another memorable night of live music.
