🌟We are looking for a class leader for our lovely after-school club cookery classes (term time only).
Cook Stars have a fantastic opportunity for a confident Cooking Class Leader to join us to support us in running some of our cookery classes & after-school clubs in Horsforth and the north west Leeds area. The role will start in September, with some training throughout July/August.
This is the ideal opportunity for someone reliable and confident, who loves children and of course cooking!
To start with we’ll need someone:
1️⃣approx. 10 hours per week
2️⃣on Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday (term time only)
3️⃣available for after-school clubs (2.30-5pm)
4️⃣willing/available to do more as the business grows
5️⃣ willing to lead ad hoc events, workshops & parties on weekends
No teaching experience is necessary, but experience of leading groups of children in a school-based/after-school club environment is required.
Training sessions and full support are provided! In addition, we supply all equipment and lesson plans – everything you will need to run your sessions confidently.
It is ESSENTIAL that you are a car driver with your own vehicle, as you will deliver the sessions from different venues in the area, and we will support you with obtaining the following (if you don't already have them):
✅ Enhanced DBS
✅ Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate
✅ First Aid Training
We’re offering £50 per session.
(Each session is based on pay for 3 hours in total to include prep, running session and clear up)
PLUS £15 per week for recipe ingredients shopping/testing/packing time.
