Happy Birthday to our longest standing member, Harry Nicholls, from everyone at Leeds Magic Circle!

What a lecture at the Leeds Magic Circle tonight. It’s not often you get to watch a true master of their craft but tonight was exactly that. We had the pleasure of having a gold star member of the inner magic circle Matthew Garrett lecturing for us this evening. Everything was well within the grasp of everyone in attendance. Great clear instructions and some of the most powerful magic I have seen. Matthew lectured not only his ring routines but card manipulations, magic square and we were even treated to Monty the Spiv! A great night had by all and thank you to everyone that came over

Leeds Magic Circle are proud to host a lecture from the incredibly talented and creative Matthew Garrett. Matthew is best known for his work on the close up linking rings, offering many magical additions to this classic routine, which elevate the magic to a whole new level!

Matt is a well know and will respected magician, a former FISM winner, who now runs his own magic theatre in Torremolinos, Spain, where he performs nightly shows to packed our audiences. This is not one to be missed!

Packed house tonight at the Leeds Magic Circle. We had the pleasure of having Michael O’Brien from across the pond. Fantastic lecture, had something for everyone. Michael has a great approach and thought process to structuring routines and how he thinks of their progression. It was the theme of the evening and gave us a lot to think about. A great night was had by all. So nice to see plenty of other clubs members attending. Also congratulations to our own Harry Nichols for winning the presidents award from our past president Graham

We kick off our 2026 Lecture schedule with the first of 3 international magicians that we have lined up this year!

The fabulous Michael O'Brien is coming to Leeds Magic Circle on 10th February, all the way from the USA!

Michael is a multiple time award winning magician at the Magic Castle in Hollywood, a Professor of Magic at the Academy of Magical Arts and you may have seen him appear on Good Morning America, Penn & Teller Fool Us, and America’s Got Talent!

This is Michael's only lecture in Yorkshire, so be sure to join us for a fabulous evening of magic!

As always, doors open at 7pm, ready for a 7:30pm start. Visiting magicians are welcome with a door charge of £10 (or only £5 for affiliated club members)
