Whilst we mourn the recent news of the closure of hebakery_liverpool, we want to look back on some memories from our last party in that very special place.

Thank you to for showing what he’s best at, as well as our residents and for their respective killer opening and closing sets; , , and .la for their fantastic tone-setting B2Bs in the pre-party; our crowd for bringing their beautifully powerful energy from start to finish; and finally, to the team at The Bakery for the work they consistently put in over the last six months.

Whilst the space is gone, the spirit and community will never die — and we can rest assured that there are still very exciting plans in the pipeline. This isn’t the end, but a new beginning.

As for us, we’ll be back with another dance soon 💕

A man who has always had a preference towards his craft and the all-round nightlife culture as opposed to accolades, Ryan is one of the three minds over at Mugpie who have helped pave the way in Leeds and the North as a whole. As well as this, he is one of the forces behind Manchester's Persona, integral to carving out Persona's wholly unique personality and ardour, emitting creativity that's truly distinctive—both endeavors showing his level of commitment to the northern scene.

On the night, expect an absorbing, divergent electronic spectrum of wax that has been built with care for well over a decade and shared with fortunate dancers and enthusiasts all over (most recently and frequently with its new heir, baby Thea).

On the 1st of Feb, we introduce to Liverpool, for his first (official) headline spot at Social Hours: Daddy Cool, our kind of Yorkshire pudding, Ryan Ingleby.

Pre-Party @ The Kaz Gardens 

In anticipation of our next party so we've decided to host a pre party in Liverpool's favourite garden,

Get out early, sink some well earned, post-dry (or not so dry) Jan beverages that little earlier.

Leading the charge for this in a b2b long in the making, will be our sisters and 2 of Liverpool's shining stars in the form of and . They'll safely set the tone for the night's proceedings by sharing more evidence of why their sounds are so sought after of late.

If that wasn't enough for you as well, the return of the McNay ( and ) to warm us up along with the fires in the garden, before the business in the Bakery.

If you're familiar with McNay you'll know that it's worth getting to from the start.

This is a Free Party so stop by and say hello and soak in some familiar vibes.

The anticipation for the 1st day of Feb is intoxicating.

To set our 2025 in motion, the first Social Hours of the year brings our old friend, Ryan Ingleby, to the city for his Liverpool debut.

A celebrated collector, a magician with wax and a Yorkshire veteran, Ryan has undoubtedly played a key role in shaping our section of the Northern scene. One of the architects behind the great houses of Mugpie and Persona, it's been a long time coming to get him down to the city of Liverpool.

Expect a far reaching spectrum of records,with depth, allure and groove at their foundation, delivered through Ryan's considered approach to DJing, combined with the usual Social Hours mischief; and typically unpredictable and killer sets from our long standing residents; DMC & Nae.

Via incredible facilitation from the Bakery crew, we'll be introducing many of you to someone who to us is an unsung hero in the electronic music scene.

We regret to inform you that our Boxing Day Social Hours has been cancelled due to venue complications.
We were hoping to see out a third installment of such a meaningful party with Round The Corner, but due to licensing issues, this cannot come to fruition.

We take pride in these annual winter events, and if we were to go ahead with this one, we'd want it to be in a scenario and venue that did our tradition justice.
This doesn't seem to be achievable at this time.
So instead, we have decided to focus our energy into the new year.

This is another reminder of the difficult climate that grassroots arts venues are trying to exist in in our city, and thus its promoters.

We're deeply disappointed and apologise for the inconvenience caused to those of you who were looking forward to joining us. The excitement was mutual.
All tickets will be valid for the future parties and refunds are available through RA.

Thank you for the love and support for this year.
Echoing it back to you all this Winter period.
See you again in '25.

Expect classic, cosy, family vibes, high energy, and plenty of friendly faces all night long. We genuinely can’t wait for this one!

We’re still riding the high from the magic of Saturday night! It was a party that meant so much to us, reminding us why we love doing what we do—and why we’ll keep doing it.

Thank you to the master of Dark Arts, for showcasing his excellent talent; his deep and enigmatic sound; and for whipping you all into an absolute frenzy. Thank you to for setting the mood perfectly with another flawlessly apt warmup set. Huge appreciation to for the stunning visual effects that kept us mesmerized all night long.

A massive shout out and lots of love to and their team for their incredible hospitality and behind-the-scenes work in curating a venue that embodies many of the values we hold close to us. 
It is truly an honor to welcome a new grassroots and community and creative driven venue to the city.
Their commitment to fostering a positive nightlife culture in Liverpool is unmatched.

And of course, the biggest thank you goes to you! The movers and shakers and beautiful souls that expel the energy and vibe.  

Thank you to the old friends of the night who traveled the country to be with us; to our adored local rabble who attend without fail every time; and to the brand new friends who came, understood the ethos and uplifted it with us all. Without all of you, our parties wouldn’t be the same—you inspire and energise us every single time.

VENUE UPDATE

Following the unfortunate cancellation of our last date, we're doing a little shift in direction.
On 16th November, our rescheduled party with will now take place at Liverpool's latest arts space, .

Despite only being in its infancy, the team there is at the forefront of some truly innovative, and refreshing ideas. We hope The Bakery ignites a new chapter for Liverpool’s arts and underground nightlife culture.

We’re thrilled to work with a collective that aligns so closely with our ethos and values. This really isn’t one to be missed.

As before, resident will be setting the tone, so arrive early and stay late, as the night shapes up to be a special one.

Due to last minute changes in Round the Corner's licensing for this weekend, we unfortunately have to cancel tomorrow’s party.
But fear not, we are rescheduling to Saturday 16th November.

We understand this may be an inconvenience to some of you, but tickets that have been already purchased will be valid for the new date.
For those who cannot make it, refunds will be available through RA.
