⚡ WHAT IF…? ⚡

What if this was the day they met their future best friend?

What if they discovered a passion that stayed with them for years?

What if they found confidence they didn’t know they had?

What if they took their very first step onto a stage?

Every performer starts somewhere.

🚗 On 19th August, we’re inviting young people aged 7–18 to join us for a workshop inspired by Back To The Future: The Musical.

✨ Work with West End performer Stephen Lewis-Johnston
✨ Sing, dance and act
✨ Meet like-minded young performers
✨ Build confidence in a supportive environment
✨ Make memories that last long after the day is over

Whether they’re already theatre-mad or just curious to try something new, this workshop is designed to inspire, challenge and encourage young performers at every stage of their journey.

✨ We’ve been busy…

Whilst LYM has been gearing up for an exciting season ahead, there have also been some huge personal milestones for our team.

🎭 Marie is busy in rehearsals as MD for Futurist Productions’ production of We Will Rock You and celebrated performing in her first concert with Yeadon Town Hall Show Choir.

👶 Meg welcomed baby Arthur Theodore Carroll into the world on 21.05.26 and is currently soaking up every moment of newborn life.

🎭 Chris is back taking to the stage in Black Comedy at the Orange Tree Theatre in Richmond, you can catch him for the next few weeks!

Alongside workshops, classes, planning and performances, there’s been plenty happening behind the scenes!

Join us this August for an unforgettable Back To The Future The Musical Workshop / West End Masterclass with the incredible Stephen Lewis-Johnston!

Stephen trained at The Urdang Academy, graduating with a 1st Class BA (Hons), and has an impressive list of professional credits including:

This is an amazing opportunity for young performers to learn from a true West End professional, gaining insight, training, and inspiration from one of the industry’s finest.

We honestly can’t quite believe it — to have filled this project and now be running a waiting list is incredible. Thank you so much for the support and for trusting us with your young performers 💚

We do keep our numbers intentionally lower so we can support every performer properly and give them the best possible experience — it means a lot that it’s filled so quickly.

✨ LYM turns ONE! ✨

Just over a year ago Chris and Meg had one dream — to create theatre that felt truly special, where young people could have the best time doing what they love 🤍

To build something in the North that gives real opportunities, big experiences, and unforgettable moments… and wow, what a year it’s been.

We honestly can’t believe our October project has sold out so quickly and we’re now operating a waitlist — we’re so grateful 🥹

Thank you to our incredible chaperones, helpers, volunteers, Jamie at Yeadon Town Hall, and every single person who has supported us along the way. We wouldn’t be here without you.

Here’s to year two… it’s going to be even bigger ✨
