Over the past few weeks, people from across Holbeck & South Leeds have come together for FLYING HIGH: Creating Flags of Awe & Wonder - a series of workshops in collaboration with Kinetika ~ Design That Moves exploring community, everyday awe and wonder, and the things that make us feel connected.

And it’s not too late to get involved!

You can book online now to join these FREE creative workshops happening over four days this week, where together we’ll continue exploring everything that is AWE-some and WONDER-full, making a series of colourful silk pennant flags celebrating this community!

Meet new people, learn some new skills, and get stuck in to a fantastic creative process facilitated by Kinetika’s Ali Pretty and our brilliant team of local Associate Artists.

📣A FEW PLACES JUST RELEASED FOR THIS WEDNESDAY, AFTER WE SOLD OUT INCREDIBLY QUICKLY! for this brand new workshop programme from Slung Low in association with Leeds People’s Theatre.

We’re delighted to be bringing this exciting opportunity for adults (18+) to develop skills and confidence in performance.

Over three initial summer sessions, with more workshops following in the autumn, we welcome adults of all ages and backgrounds to explore different performance techniques, covering voice work, movement and character development.

If you missed out when we first announced the programme a few weeks ago, get booking for this Wednesday’s opening session. We look forward to welcoming you!

Looking forward to welcoming Leeds International African Arts Festival to The Warehouse in Holbeck in June!

We’re delighted to be a venue partner at LIAAF 2026 and there’s lots of brilliant things happening across the whole programme. This year’s theme, ‘Connect With Nature’, explores the links between arts, ecology, identity and community, with a regional focus on West Africa.
