Fantastic to happen upon Upright, a solo exhibition by Angela de la Cruz at Ikon Gallery while I was in Birmingham.

I'd only just come across her work in the Flare Up exhibition at Goldsmiths CCA so it was interesting to see the impact of the different curatorial framings on the work.

I brought my Heterotopia print to life!

I specifically focused on the Celtic knot, channelling Mary Seton Watts' Scottish heritage and her interest in Celtic Revivalism and the Book of Kells when designing Watts Cemetery Chapel.
