Beckett Choir is still having a break as we're not back on campus yet, and won't be for a while. We may start up again in the future, but for now we must bid you all a fond farewell and wish you all the best finding other Choirs.

Unfortunately we're still on a break, and wouldn't be meeting up due to the current situation anyway. We may be back in September, but there are plenty of virtual choirs out there in the meantime.

Our new term starts next week. We'll be running 8-9 rehearsals with an informal concert at the end, starting next Thursday (26th September) 6-7:45pm. The music will be a mix of classical and popular, all levels are welcome and no audition is needed.

For this term we're also moving back up to Headingley to the Jubilee Room, James Graham Campus, LS6 3QS.

Come and Sing with Beckett Choir

Join us in our new format for this term, as we spend another 3-weeks exploring music.
• No experience needed, no audition
• All levels welcome (you don’t need to read music)
• Lifts your mood, is great fun - a stress buster!
• Learn about your voice from a trained professional
• Make new friends

We’ll be working on 3 or 4 pieces in a relaxed and fun environment, so you can see what the Beckett Choir is all about. We’ve been providing a space for students and staff at the university to sing for over 15 years! Recently we opened up membership to anyone, so you don’t need to be part of the University.
Rehearsals are at Broadcasting Place (LS2 9EN), Room BPA 102. Thursday nights 16th, 23rd and 30th May, 6pm-7:45pm. Fee is £5 per session. If you’re not familiar with our City Campus, you’re looking for the building below.
