Hello I am very tired of trans people being the source of media controversy, laws, etc. when we are simply trying to live our lives.

There has been a huge increase in hostility and discrimination towards trans folk due to the supreme Court ruling and the guidance from the EHRC. Every time I go outside, I am second guessing myself - how I am presenting, how I am perceived, etc. As I am also a mobility aid user, this means I feel like I am stared at even more. I am lucky to live in a fairly chill, accepting town for the most part. Growing up, this was absolutely not the case. My heart genuinely breaks for gender nonconforming kids trying to grow up in today's society.

Email your MPs and tell them your thoughts on the guidance. Trans people should not be treated as a third s*x. Uplift the trans/non-binary people in your life - share their posts, share their fundraisers, go to their events, share their art, etc. Love will always be louder than hate.

Halloran, formed in 2023 in Reading are an high energy and aggressive post hardcore/ emo band performing music about the q***r experience, trauma and domestic violence. Through the lense of horror and sci fi themes expect an intense and unapologetic performance!

Some thoughts re: election results.

When I saw the election results, my first thought was ‘why is there so much hate?’

I know this probably sounds naive; the hate in the UK has been breeding for years and, as we are in a cost of living crisis, people want someone to blame. And it’s easy to focus on minorities and disadvantaged groups and blame them for your problems than to look at the motivation those in power have to blame these communities. Because if you work hard, you can be just like them too, right? And you don’t take handouts, you’re better than that. At least that’s what you think. But what happens when you realise they lied to you? That it isn’t just hard work and taking pride in your independence. It’s about stepping over those at the bottom, taking power whenever you can no matter what and pushing yourself through the hardest times of your life with little to no support.

The parts of the UK I love the most I love because they are bright, diverse, colourful and proud of it. They are cities where different cultures intersect, where we learn from one another and freely ask for help when we need it. They are cities where difference is celebrated and praised, where we come together to celebrate what makes us different.

There are still so many of us that oppose the rise of fascism. We are stronger together, united. Do not believe the lies of the media. Do your own research. Find your own community.

I wanted to hide away and cease to exist when I saw the results. But I know that’s what they want - so I will continue to be loud, proud and present. They can’t take that away from us.

IT IS BECOMING INCREASINGLY OBVIOUS... I CAN DENY IT NO LONGER .... I need a wheelchair that meets my needs!

Help me () fundraise for mobility aids! I was very kindly gifted a chair to use by but I cannot use it independently - it's also difficult to use in the area I live in due to the vast amount of hills. I am hoping to raise some funds so I can get a chair I can use daily and one that I can customise to meet my needs.

Access info: Please do a covid-19 test before attending and do not attend if you are unwell. Masking is encouraged and we have masks available. Wharf is wheelchair accessible with a wheelchair accessible toilet which can be found next to the bar. Wharf's full access info can be found on their website and will be linked on the ticket page once I set it up! This event will be seated, but we will have some floor space if you want to have a boogie! 👯

Aphrodykie is Birminghams very own goddess of love (and faggotry) with a mix of glitter and pink and their own set of wheels.

We are so so excited to have .band join us all the way from Brighton!

Formed in May 2024, Creeping Embers are an all q***r, trans and disabled fronted genre hopping punk band from Brighton. Loud, chaotic and slightly unhinged, Creeping Embers combine rumbling bass tones, erratic drum beats and biting vocals to create an experience you won’t forget!

Introducing the Bite Back! fund

For trans/non-binary folk in the Leeds area who are struggling to meet their basic needs.

More details can be found in the slides. You can donate directly via opencollective or in-person at our events. Opencollective is an open platform where you can see all the funds going in and out of the fund for full transparency.

There will be a form to fill out to request payments. This will be live once we have a reasonable amount to donate. If you know anyone who may be willing to support this fund, comment them down below!
