This is the kind of thing we studio people get up to during drum soundchecks!!! (Plan B was a paddling pool). We have been recording some epic new songs with John Parkes, Simon Smith and Alaric Lewis. Day 3 tomorrow. Quite a result!!!

A snippet from The Ancient Infinity Orchestra forming part of an upcoming Leeds Jazz album on VINYL. Nice to work with musicians who do not conform to the usual verse chorus middle 8 formula. Refreshing!!!

A first for Soundworks - a train set with a truck cam. Naturally it was overdubbed!!! A great three days with John, Alric and Simon recording tracks for an album. Fantastic playing, and some very individual sounding drums. A complete blast all round!!
