LAOS, one of the foremost musical theatre societies in the country, performs twice a year at The Grand Theatre and the West Yorkshire Playhouse in Leeds. We have been performing at The Grand Theatre for over 100 years and in 2005 became the first, and only, amateur company to perform at The Playhouse. Currently we are set to perform Footloose at West Yorkshire Playhouse in November and 42nd Street at The Grand in March.

Last night I ventured out to the theatre to see Shrek The Musical at the Leeds Grand. What a fantastic, upbeat, feel-good show it is! It’s only on until Saturday so be quick if you want to see it - it’s got my recommendation for sure!
