Armley Dance Studios ADS - Armley Dance Studios A theatre school teaching IDTA Modern Jazz, Contemporary, Tap, Ballet and Acrobatic Dance grades established over 65 years.

Children entered for IDTA exams and trained for regional competitions/championships. We also have a student teachers degree course. Past pupils have a fantastic success rate in the Arts Industry. We welcome beginners right through to experienced pupils from the age of 3 upwards. Special nursery class. Also the school holds a good reputation for training boys.

What a fabulous day at the IDTA Miss Dance and Dance Master event 2026.
Not many pictures as the crowds and size of the event makes it difficult to find everyone. But that makes the day have that amazing buzz. 🔥
The opening with every finalist taking to the stage is always a thrilling and euphoric moment … from proud parents to little aspiring dancers and a time to see the huge amount of talent on display, definitely an IDTA flagship event. 🇬🇧🇬🇧💙❤️
Aimee and Betsy your first time at Miss Dance and you both did us proud. 👏🏼👏🏼
We loved watching you. ⭐️⭐️

Betsy and Aimee have been best friends since little tiny children in our school and their mums, travelling to dance events, hotel stays, taking exams, going to all and every dance project… they are also supportive to all dancers and just lovely pupils. 💖💖 Girlies you have again made more lasting memories this weekend. ✨

Thank you to all our supporters who travelled too, ex pupils and parents who come every year to join the day.

IDTA Miss Dance of Great Britain
Wishing Aimee and Betsy good luck and a fabulous day performing on the iconic Winter Gardens stage in Blackpool. 🎭
We will be cheering you on 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
The girls are the 85th and 86th finalists from Armley Dance Studios who have qualified for this amazing prestigious event over the years. 💛
We did a little presentation last night to send them off. 🍀🍀⭐️✨⭐️✨

Examination day pics from yesterday and what a day it was ! The session had a fair few little ones in, with first timers, a mix of subjects, grades and levels.
The examiner was so lovely and encouraging. 💖 …. But none of us expected the fire alarm to go off at the end of grade 1 taps !!!
So outside we all went candidates dressed in exam attire and so on… the problem was resolved and we all cracked on swiftly.✔️
Thank you parents for your calmness, patience and just being brilliant throughout the situation. 💛

What a week …. RIDINGS GLOBAL DANCE FESTIVAL which has been going since 1989.
So if you have a trophy/shield for your hard work this week dancers, be extremely proud. The history of ex dancers on the awards go back a very long time and many dancers have attended this festival, with a lot having had lucrative careers in dance/T.V/ Film and much more. 🎭🎭
The awards are just wonderful carrying so many memories.
BUT we have not been at this festival in such a hot house!! 🥵🌅🥵honestly the heat was something else!!! So dancers the biggest of admiration for battling through the week. 🔥☀️🧡
